60's and 70's show Mission Impossible

I am a fan of the old “Mission Impossible” TV series from the late 60’s and early 70’s. Every mission seemed impossible, but Jim Phelps always came through! It’s a great way to look at how our God always comes through in his sovereign (large and in charge)  way through all of life’s missions. It’s a matter of trust on our part. He is seeking us for greater things than we can imagine.

My family has many examples of how God has led us through missions for His glory. Since June 2006 we have been involved in planting a Church in Halstead, Ks. In it’s beginning, leaving the Church that we had gone to for over 10 years in Halstead was tough. Our kids were mad and angry and some of our church friends were mad and angry. However, we have seen Gods blessings overflow in our kids, marriage and relationships since being involved in a Church plant.

I believe that God is once again calling my family to missions in a different way. A “mission made possible” through his supernatural love, enduring leadership and grace.

Praying and waiting on His direction.
